Scope of these terms
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, courses, group classes, private sessions and other services provided by BASI Pilates Studio Zürich.
By booking a class, course, pass, membership or other service, you accept these general terms and conditions.
Current classes, availability, passes and purchase details are provided through Eversports.
Prices and booking
The prices and conditions published on our website or in Eversports at the time of booking apply.
BASI Pilates Studio Zürich may adjust its offers, schedule and prices. Passes and credits already purchased and still valid generally retain the validity agreed at the time of purchase.
Online bookings are generally possible up to 3 hours before a class starts.
For a last-minute booking, please contact us via WhatsApp or email. Your booking is only valid once the studio has explicitly confirmed it.
Cancellations and no-shows
Classes and sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before they start.
Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full or deducted from your pass as a class credit.
The 24-hour cancellation rule also applies when a different instructor teaches the class at short notice.
Schedule changes and substitute instructors
BASI Pilates Studio Zürich may change its schedule or instructors when needed. The instructor listed on the schedule may be replaced by a qualified substitute, including at short notice.
A change of instructor does not entitle you to a late cancellation, refund or return of a class credit. Our regular 24-hour cancellation policy continues to apply.
This also applies when a specific instructor was named in the schedule or at the time of booking.
Class cancellations by the studio
BASI Pilates Studio Zürich may cancel classes because of low attendance, organisational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
If the studio cancels a class, the corresponding credit is returned to your client account or the class is not charged.
For automatic group-class cancellations, the minimum attendance requirements and cancellation times shown in Eversports for the relevant class apply.
Passes, credits and validity
Packages, class passes, credits and other offers must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase. Unused sessions generally expire at the end of that period and are not refunded.
An extension may be granted in justified exceptional cases, particularly prolonged illness or injury, by prior agreement with the studio. The studio may request supporting evidence.
Passes and credits may only be transferred to another person with prior approval from BASI Pilates Studio Zürich.
Equipment / Reformer — clothing and jewellery
Our high-quality Pilates equipment has sensitive leather and upholstered surfaces.
For Equipment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and other apparatus classes, please do not wear clothing with exposed zippers, sharp metal parts or other elements that could damage the equipment.
Remove jewellery, watches and other items that could scratch or damage the leather, upholstery or equipment before training. Follow the instructor’s directions on safe use and equipment protection.
If you cause damage through failure to follow these requirements or through improper use, BASI Pilates Studio Zürich may charge you the resulting repair or replacement costs where you are responsible for the damage.
Equipment use and safety
Studio equipment may only be used during scheduled classes, private sessions or expressly authorised self-practice, following the instructions of the instructor or studio management.
Handle all equipment carefully and use it for its intended purpose. Follow safety instructions and directions concerning equipment settings and exercise execution.
Health and personal responsibility
Participation in Pilates, Yoga, Barre and other movement classes must take your individual health condition into account.
Before class, inform your instructor of relevant injuries, surgery, pregnancy, physical limitations or other health circumstances that may affect safe participation.
If you are unsure whether training is appropriate for your health condition, seek medical or therapeutic advice before participating.
If pain, dizziness, discomfort or other unusual symptoms occur during a session, stop exercising and inform the instructor immediately.
Liability and personal belongings
Participation in training is at your own responsibility. BASI Pilates Studio Zürich and its staff are liable in accordance with applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is excluded for damage resulting from failure to follow instructions, improper equipment use or failure to disclose relevant health limitations.
To the extent permitted by law, BASI Pilates Studio Zürich accepts no liability for personal belongings, clothing, jewellery, valuables or other items brought into the studio.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate accident and personal liability insurance.
Late arrival
Late arrival does not entitle you to an extension of a class or session, or to a partial refund.
For safety reasons, an instructor may decide that a significantly late arrival can no longer join a class that has already started. In such cases, the class credit is not refunded.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The contractual relationship between you and BASI Pilates Studio Zürich is governed by Swiss law.
To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
