Her journey
From Davos tracks to the Pilates studio.
Elite sport taught Saskia how to stay focused, work with discipline, and move through limits. Pilates gave those qualities a precise, sustainable new form.
Growing up in Davos, Saskia explored a wide range of sports before committing to competitive cross-country skiing. Her path led to the Swiss national squad with SwissSki and, after her elite career, onward to endurance running competitions.
Alongside a career in banking, she trained as a group fitness instructor in aerobics and barbell training. Pilates began as the ideal complement to endurance sport and became a practice for strength, stability, body control, posture, and flexibility. Convinced by the BASI method, Saskia entered Comprehensive Teacher Training. Today, as a banking professional and mother of two, movement remains her essential daily ritual and source of balance.
